FavOrg

Jake Bechtold | August 16, 2005

favorg

Do you ever notice that on some favorites in your web browser there’s a nice little icon, but then after a while, they disappear? These are called Favicons, and they are stored in your Temporary Internet Files. Once you delete your Temporary Internet Files, they are gone. But not anymore. Introducing FavOrg. FavOrg goes through your Favorites, contacts the server, and saves the icon to a location on your computer, so your favorites still have the icon. With that, you can point folders to have one of your favicons as it’s icon. This program also will update your favorites, meaning if the site switched to a different URL, it’ll change it for you. Spybot Search And Destroy

Jake Bechtold | August 9, 2005

spybot

This post about Spybot Search And Destroy is a review that I put on the old version of the website about a year and a half ago. You can find more of these at www.geocities.com/jbechtold12.

I am absolutely sick of Spyware! However, I have a download that will help. Spybot Search And Destroy is an excellent program to remove Spyware. Spyware is software that websites will install without your consent, and use it to track where you go on the internet. Also, Spyware will also slow down your computer. Jake Bechtold | August 2, 2005
