The iPhone Projector?

Jake Bechtold | June 11, 2008

Since I did double posts on Monday, I thought skipping yesterday would be okay.

That said, I think I may have found the ultimate iPhone Accessory. Apparently Computex had more than one mini-projector on display from Honlai. I’m talking an iPhone Projector.

Honlai also has the QingBar MP101 that has connectors for Apple’s iPod and iPhone allowing you to carry all your video files and then have the ability to project them. Just clip your iPod or iPhone on top of the MP101 and you’re ready to go. Pretty cool.

Now don’t get too excited kids. The MP101 is capable of throwing a 15- to 27-inch display form your iPhone or iPod touch in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, we’re talking just 10-15 lumens and a 200:1 contrast. Not super great; definitely a work in progress. No word on price or availability, but this does have potential to be the next big gadget.
