Manic Monday L: 50 Down, Tons to go

Jake Bechtold | August 4, 2008

For those of you that need to refresh on your roman numerals, L = 50. That means this is the 50th Manic Monday I’ve done (sure doesn’t feel like it). That all said, here we go with Manic Monday L:

• Firefox market share exceeds 20%, Internet Explorer dips below 70%. Sweet.
• Verizon Wireless, apparently, doesn’t understand the words “Ruined in Fire”.
• Digg has launched a new and improved version of Digg Mobile.
• And the overclock world record has been set: Q6600 2.4GHz run at 5.1GHz
• On to Apple stuff, Lifehacker says you don’t need an iPhone: The iPod Touch is good enough.
• Appleinsider claims the next-gen Macs are to have something special under the hood.
• Meanwhile, Computerworld claims the new MacBooks will have Glass Trackpads.
• The FCC says Comcast Illegally Interfered With Web File-Sharing Traffic.
• Gizmodo has put how an illistrated guide to every stupid cable you need.
• And Finally, Sprint early termination fees have been ruled illegal.

That’s this week’s Manic Monday. I know I slacked last week because I was out of town- Sorry. I am back in town and I should be able to fork more time into the site. Enjoy!
