iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0.1 Firmware available for download

Jake Bechtold | August 5, 2008

You heard it right, folks. Apple has released the 2.0.1 firmware update for the iPhone and iPod touch which brings the much-awaited “Bug fixes”- and boy there are bugs in 2.0.

Hopefully, 2.0.1 will fix some application crashes, as well as crashes related to getting Apps on the device itself and not in iTunes (which I’ve found to be a problem). I’m downloading it right now (at 3:30am Central- I’m crazy) and I will let you know if there is something “big”.

Speaking of Big, the file is 244MB, so you might want to start the download now. You can get it from the usual spots.
