Firefox Tip: Prevent hijacking of the Window Size

Jake Bechtold | October 9, 2008

We all love Firefox, but every once in a while, a certain webpage will just up and change the size of your window! How Annoying! But there is an easy fix to that.

1.) Go to Tools >> Options (or Firefox >> Preferences, on a Mac)
2.) Go to the Content tab
3.) On the right hand side, click on advanced.
4.) Go to Move or Resize existing windows, and un-check that.

Now your Firefox windows are saved from that demonic script. Enjoy!
