I’ve done the Windows and iPod quick tips to death. Now it’s the Mac’s turn.

Silence is golden
When you use the volume keys to turn up or down the volume, you get the little click that goes with it. Don’t want to hear the click? Just hold down the shift key while adjusting the volume.

Quickly Open The Preference Panes
Need a quick way to open the sound preference pane? Just hold down the Option Key while adjusting the volume. It’ll then open the volume control panel. The same thing works with the display preference; Just hold Option while adjusting the brightness.

Cycle through them
If you have a bunch of Finder windows open, there’s a quick way to go through them. While F11 in Exposé will show all the Finde’s windows, you can cycle through them by presssing “Cmd+`”. Pressing this will go to a different window. Keep pressing to cycle through them.

There you go, three cool Mac OS X quick tips. If you have any others, please leave them in the comments; I may possibly use them in the future.
