Apple Event: Survey Says…
Jake Bechtold | September 5, 2007Okay folks, here the goods from today’s event. First up is the iPod Shuffle.

The 1GB iPod shuffle lets you wear up to 240 songs on your sleeve. Or your lapel. Or your belt. Available in your choice of remixed colors for just $79. Clip on iPod shuffle and wear it as a badge of musical devotion.

Next is the iPod Nano.
It’s the small iPod with one very big idea: Video. Now the world’s most popular music player lets you enjoy TV shows, movies, video podcasts, and more. The larger, brighter display means amazing picture quality. In five eye-catching colors, iPod nano is stunning all around. And with 4GB and 8GB models starting at just $149, little speaks volumes

Here come the main changes. The regular iPod you’ve known and love is now the iPod Classic.
Decisions, decisions. Who needs ’em? Why should you have to choose what to put on your iPod? With up to 160GB of storage, iPod classic lets you carry everything in your collection — up to 40,000 songs or up to 200 hours of video — everywhere you go. In a completely new, even thinner, all-metal design starting at $249, this iPod is a modern classic

This change is due to the new iPod Touch. This new iPod is my prediction from earlier, with Revolutionary multi-touch interface, a Gorgeous 3.5-inch widescreen display, Music downloads straight from iTunes, and the ability to Surf the web with Wi-Fi. The new iPod touch comes in 8GB and 16GB (Flash I’m guessing), and starts at $299. Keep in mind that they won’t ship until Sept. 28th. And yes, I will get one, I’m not sure which one yet.
The other change that occured to day was the to the iPhone. It now has ringtones, and a price drop from $599 to a stunning $399.
That is it from today’s event, Enjoy!
