Manic Monday XXIV: Hail The NY Giants!

Jake Bechtold | February 4, 2008

A last minute touchdown put the NY Giants as SuperBowl XLII champs. Enough sports, time for tech news.

- You can catch the SuperBowl commericals on MySpace.
- Pirate Bay insists they’re safe, with or without the courts.
- P2P users are to blast Comcast in the FCC proceeding. Sucks for them.
- Microsoft wants to buy Yahoo for $45 Billion. Sucks for them.
- Oh, and the government really wants you to switch to DTV. Sucks for us.
- Moving on, Firefox has 20% share in Europe. If only we could do that in the US…
- AT&T Edge went down this week. Nobody knows why.
- The MacBook Air shipped this week. Too bad the AppleTV didn’t.
- And it sounds like the iPhone SDK key has been leaked. Whoops!
- And Apple launched a help site to persuade Windows users. Good for them.
- Finally: Don’t like Vista? Neither do the repair shops.

That’s this week’s Manic Monday. I will once again do my best to get some new posts out to you; stay tuned.
