Minimize iTunes to your taskbar

Jake Bechtold | August 23, 2006

Quick Note: I start school tommorow, so posts are going to be slowing down a whole bunch. I’ll try to post every other day, and both Satuday and Sunday. Thanks for understanding!

If you’re like me, you hate the iTunes Mini-Player. Here’s a better way to minimize iTunes, but still have control. Use the taskbar.

1. Right hand click on your taskbar at the bottom
2. Click on Toolbars
3. Click on iTunes
4. Minimize iTunes

Ok, I have known about this for some time, but this is really handy. The one I preffer is “minimize iTunes window to system tray” (found in preferances). Just make sure that the later option is shut off before using the taskbar toolbar.

is there any way to find out how to do this on macs? it used to free float (not on the "taskbar" at the bottom of the screen) but then i downloaded the latest version of iTunes and it stopped doing that.
